Before Rhombus, Techspace relied on a legacy CCTV system that frequently caused headaches: unreliable cameras, technical issues, and support requests that drained internal resources. Staff needed to access footage across locations, but the old system made it difficult and time-consuming, especially when working remotely from home or other sites.

Techspace turned to Rhombus for a cloud-managed security platform that aligns with their multi-site, flexible approach. The implementation was smooth and straightforward, thanks to plug-and-play IP devices and minimal on-site IT configuration. New sites came onboard with Rhombus cameras from the beginning, whilst older locations saw their legacy cameras brought seamlessly into the cloud using the Rhombus Relay connector.

By integrating Rhombus with Kisi, their existing access control system, Techspace was able to create a unified system where access control events are automatically matched with relevant video footage. This allows the team to instantly verify card credential activity and address issues without switching between platforms.
